AND ALSO: a bunch of randomly named subkeys in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID with names like "45235962-512f-4835-88d9-868778f6dacc" etc...
The thing is, it was hard to know which ones were added by a previous install of vbsedit and needed to be removed vs those that were already there and shouldn't be removed. I recommend that you install vbsedit again and select the "only for me (USERNAME)" option when installing. Then look in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID, backup this entire key. Then look at all the subkeys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID with names like "45235962-512f-4835-88d9-868778f6dacc". Thene delete all subkeys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID Then find all subkeys in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID that have names that are the same as the subkeys in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\CLSID and delete only those subkeys. Always make sure to backup the registry parts that you edit. Good luck.
thanks mate
